Hong Qiao is a favorite tourist shopping center for anyone visiting Beijing. It is particularly famous for its vast array of pearls on sale. Great deals are to be had throughout the building especially if you remember to bargain!
Here is a general idea of what you can find on each floor:
Floor 1
- Daily use articles, cosmetics, cigarette liters, mobile phone accessories, clocks, watches, glasses, photographic equipment, small household electronic appliances.
Floor 2
- Cases, bags, sporting goods, leisurewear, garments, shoes, hats, and silk articles.
Floor 3
- Pearl necklaces, inlaid ornaments, old second-hand goods, handicrafts, writing brushes, ink sticks, ink slabs, paper, curios, calligraphy and paintings.
Floor 4
- Pearls.
